President of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) Osama Taseer recently urged Danish and Swedish entrepreneurs to invest more in Bangladesh in the readymade garments, ship building, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, leather and footwear, information and communication technology, light engineering, electrical and electronics and infrastructure sectors.

He said this when Swedish ambassador to Bangladesh Charlotta Schlyter and Danish ambassador to Bangladesh Winnie Estrup Petersen met him on March 5, 2019. Schlyter called for reducing the trade gap between Bangladesh with Sweden. Petersen said her embassy will assist Bangladesh in improving the ease of doing business index to attract investment.
